In 2002, we founded BC Shoes in Los Angeles with a single belief: footwear could be both beautiful and compassionate. From our first sneaker designs to our expanding collection today, BC Shoes has remained rooted in California’s spirit of innovation, boldness, and positive change.
We started as a sister brand of Seychelles Footwear, bringing California’s colorful, playful aesthetic to every shoe we create. But as our industry evolved and our values deepened, so did our commitment. In 2018, we took a pivotal step: we went 100% vegan across every product in our collection. This wasn’t just a product shift — it was a commitment to building a footwear company that aligns with the values of people who care about where their clothes come from and what they represent.
Today, BC Shoes is PETA-certified vegan, and that certification represents something bigger than materials. It represents our promise that no animal-derived products touch any pair of BC shoes.
